POSITION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Youth and Community Worker to join our Parish team using devolved funding from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Councils S106 scheme.

The Youth and Community Worker will be responsible for delivering a programme of activities in a range of community settings across Wouldham and Snodland through the provision of youth led projects and informal activities to meet the needs of both children and adults in the community.

The successful candidate will be able to drive the minibus with a D1 licence, have an NVQ or equivalent in youth and community work, experience of developing, promoting, organising and delivering social programmes and opportunities with, and for, the whole community. In addition, candidates will have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, develop effective working relationships (both with agencies and volunteers), work as part of a team and have a willingness to work flexibly to ensure service delivery.

The role is offered on a fixed term basis to 31st March 2025, working flexibly 20 hours per week, working evenings, occasional weekends and days during school holidays.
